Thinking About Boys

kewl_mag_jillian_clare.jpg

Teen Actress Jillian Clare was in visiting with us this morning, and we were talking about our number one topic…boys! Jillian is turning 16 next month, and we were trying to think of boys her own age that she could crush on.  She has a very special problem though: She’s grown up with most of the guys that are in our magazine! They’re all friends and have known each other since they were kids, and she can’t even imagine crushing on them (even if they do spend all their free time together!)

Is that the problem? That once you know a guy better, you just want to be friends, and when you don’t know them at all, you think they’re Prince Charming?!?  Hmmm!

So here’s a topic: What do you look for in a crush, and what do you look for in a friend?  Different things?  The same things? Hmmmm?  That’s a toughie!

That makes sense because when I’m interested in a guy that I don’t really know and I start dating him, I’ve either come to the conclusions that I can’t get along with them or they make better friends than boyfriends.
But I need to be able to be bestfriends with my boyfriend before I really feel comfortable…

Hey! Yeah, there is differences. I like clown-ish, funny guys as friends, and I like quiet, respectful guys as b/f. Those are huge differences haha.
