Today, we have the future in our studio! Justin Martin is the newest member of the High School Musical cast…and future cast! As Donny in HSM3, he’ll be one of the key underclassmen introduced to carry on the Wildcat Tradition as the current class graduates and moves on to college.  He’s had a super busy year, filming four movies and one made for TV movie “A Raisin in the Sun”, a role which he was cast in directly from his one-year run on Broadway as Young Simba in The Lion King. This is one singing, dancing, acting triple threat! And polite and well dressed, too!  To catch the full scoop on him, you’ll have to wait for a future issue of KEWL!

If you do, then you might want to come out to Universal City Walk on Saturday, as a couple of our fave girls from Camp Rock will be there to host a teen talent show! Alyson Stoner and Meaghan Jette Martin (who get along really well in real life!) will be there, and may even sign a few autographs. If you’re lucky enough to be a KEWL subscriber, then you already have your newest copy of KEWL, and can have the girls sign their very own covers! This month, there are four different covers for KEWL: Demi, Alyson, Anna Maria and Meaghan! Jasmine was up in Canada at home, and couldn’t get by the offices, but we have an interview with her in the new mag that we got over the phone! Must be complete, now!

Jake did indeed come to visit us, but it’s no wonder he had to cancel the last time! He’s so busy! The super-smart, super-serious guy is not only working on his hit TV show The Wizards of Waverly Place, but he’s just finished playing leading roles in two movies that are coming out over the next six months or so: The Perfect Game and Hotel for Dogs. We won’t give away too much about all the things we talked about - you’ll just have to get the August issue of our mag to get the full scoop! Nuff said, it was fun!

Today, KEWL is doing a photo shoot with our very own Cassie Scerbo (Dear Cassie) and to talk about two of her upcoming films.  And because they are boyfriend and girlfriend, Michael Copon is also coming in for a visit. They met on the set of “Bring It On: In It To Win It”, and now he’s coming to talk about his upcoming starring role in “The Scorpion King 2: Rise of a Warrior”. These guys are so sweet and cute!  Can’t wait!

Today we have Ryan Ochoa visiting the KEWL offices! He’s starring in “The Perfect Game” with Jansen Panettiere, Jake T. Austin and Moises Arias.  The movie is coming out August 8th, so be looking for the true life story of a Mexican little-league team that came to America and played the ‘perfect game’!

How much fun is this! We’ve been visited all day long by some of our fave new friends in movies and TV, and we’re hardly getting a chance to catch our breath!

Who? Well, singer Jesse Hart, actress Madeline Carroll from “Resident Evil” and the upcoming “Swing Vote”, and actor,/dancer/singer Jordan Francis from “Camp Rock”!  We’re getting all the inside scoop, including learning the Camp Rock choreography!!!

We’re having so much fun, we might not get any work done…!

Teen Actress Jillian Clare was in visiting with us this morning, and we were talking about our number one topic…boys! Jillian is turning 16 next month, and we were trying to think of boys her own age that she could crush on.  She has a very special problem though: She’s grown up with most of the guys that are in our magazine! They’re all friends and have known each other since they were kids, and she can’t even imagine crushing on them (even if they do spend all their free time together!)

Is that the problem? That once you know a guy better, you just want to be friends, and when you don’t know them at all, you think they’re Prince Charming?!?  Hmmm!

So here’s a topic: What do you look for in a crush, and what do you look for in a friend?  Different things?  The same things? Hmmmm?  That’s a toughie!

And welcome back Felicity! You had a good point about the winners part of our website that I  wanted to talk more about.  There’s a glitch in our winner’s section that it tells you “You’ve Won” even if you’re not a current winner. We’re upgrading the site, and that should go away as soon as that happens, but what it’s showing is that fact that you did at one point win something from us. If you are a current winner, it will always tell you the prize. For some reason when we delete the old contests, it deletes the prize and not the winner. Go figure!

The other thing about our contests is way more kewl: They’ve been extended to July 15th! Now you have more time than before to earn points and make entries, so get to it!

Also, did you know that by becoming a subscriber, you get the magazine earlier than anyone else?!?  Total headstart! I’m only saying…
