Today we’re hosting Ana Maria Perez de Taglia in our offices!  Yay!  She played Miracle on the TV show CAKE, and is co-starring in the upcoming Jonas Brother’s movie “Camp Rock”.  She plays Ella, and is key to all the action and intrigue!

Hey! You’re gonna have to write one of these at the end of the summer, so why not get some practice now?!? Your blogster just got back from a relaxing vacation, and would like to report that she took the good weather with her to the east coast of America. Yep! If you were sitting around in snow and rain on the west coast, you can blame our fearless blogster for taking all the sunshine to the east! JK! Good friends, fun family, lots to eat and drink, beaches, picnics… we even made a special birthday crossword puzzle for a friend, where all the questions were all about them! Okay, so we’re a little geeky!

We hate to lose you, our loyal readers, but our main blogger has a lot on her plate for today and the next week and a half!  Today, the computer must be primed and all the March issue contests get run and winners posted!  Then, our precious blogster is going on vacation (Yay!), and may not have internet access from the island she’s escaping to!  All will be well again on May 29th.  Though who knows?  Maybe another member of the KEWLteam will step up to the plate and keep you informed of the goings on in our office in her absence!  There should be a lot!

For our July issue - oh, yeah! The June issue is finished and should be out in stores and on your doorstep any day now! - we’re collecting all the girls from “Camp Rock” in our studio for exclusive interviews and photo shoots just for you guys!

Today, our guests are Meaghan Jette Martin and Alyson Stoner! Meaghan plays bad girl Tess Tyler, who is out to rule the camp, no matter what it takes. Alyson (our very own KEWL dance editor!) plays Caitlyn - aspiring music producer who knows all about Tess’ wily ways, and tries to protect Mitchie (Demi Lovato)…and that’s all I’m gonna give away! They’re both great, sweet, lovely girls, and they’re having a great time in our photo studio with fun outfits, props and costumes!

We’ll keep you informed as more people stop by!

The KEWL team just did a little catching up (red lasso has all the videos from last night), and making a decision on who will  go home is a real toss up!  We’re big fans of the craftsmanship shown by David Cook all throughout the contest, so we don’t think he’ll be the one to go, but we’re having a hard time figuring out what the deal is with Syesha and David A!  They each had a weak song last night, and the way Syesha is pouring on everything from stage presence to singing chops, we just don’t have any idea anymore how this thing is going to turn out!

How exciting is this?!?

There has been a little fashion world furor over Sarah Jessica Parker’s choice of ‘chapeau’ (that’s French for ‘hat’) at last night’s premiere of her new movie in London.  In the movie, as in her hit TV show, she plays a fashion obsessed New York columnist (writer, like me!), and is always wearing the most amazingly fashionable things while taking on all the drama and excitement of everyday life in the City.  But does that explain this hat?

Up close, it looks like an acorn cap (for reals, no metaphors here) with one of her signature huge flowers rising out of it, along with some feathers (or feathery grasses) and a couple of butterflies along for the ride.

We ask you: is it fashion fun?  Or silly in a not so fun way?

What an exciting weekend!  We went to see the American Tour of the musical Mamma Mia!, and it was so kewl!  But what was even kewler, is that one of the leads was played by a good friend!  He was such a good singer and actor and dancer - it was just soooo much fun to watch!  Do you have any friends who do something really impressive?  People who are just so amazing, you can’t believe they are your friends, too!

We couldn’t watch last night as Jason Castro forgot the words to his song on American Idol!  Who can stand it?!?  The pressure is on for the final four, and they’re beginning to show signs of the strain.  The finalists were taken to see the Cirque du Soleil show ‘Love’ in Las Vegas over the weekend, and though that’s something we want to do someday too, maybe the producers should have let them have a little rest instead?  As expected the strain was felt most in Jason and Syesha’s performances - but who do you think will go?

We can’t wait to hear your reasons for who will go and who will stay!
