Not Believing Everything You Read
Well, we had a nasty shock this morning! It seems our lead news story yesterday wasn’t even true! How embarrassing! The story was all over the web about how a 13 year old boy in Germany had come to the frightening conclusion that we were thousands of times more likely to be hit by an asteroid than NASA had previously predicted! We published the story here, and it turns out that NASA never agreed that the boy’s findings were correct, as was reported! Thank goodness!
In a world where there is sooooo much information, and we can’t possibly know everything there is to know, there may be a few lessons to be learned: One might be “Don’t get to passionate about something until you have checked into the facts yourself.” Another might be “Always admit when you’re wrong.” It takes strength, but admitting a mistake is always better than out and out lying to those you care about. We stand for giving you the truth whenever we can, even if that means proving that we don’t know everything all the time.

That’s what I like about Kewl Mag, y’all always are honest, unlike J-14 and Twist.
Yeah, I love celeb “gossip,” but always check to see if it’s true after I read it. Can’t believe everything!
