Well this is the last day for all the Fall Issue Contests!!!  They close down at midnight tonight, Pacific Standard Time.  (That’s California Time, so you’ll have to find out how many hours difference that is for you!) Check here if you want to know where you fit in the world’s time line!  www.timeanddate.com/worldclock  We especially love the way that Australia is 3 hours ago, tomorrow!  Well, for us anyway!

The point is, you only have today to enter for the last time!  And tomorrow, we have the joy of running all the drawings for the winners!  That’s over one hundred winners, so we may be at it for a while!  The computer does the random selection, of course, but then we have to send out emails to everyone, and get their usernames posted on the sight.  Think about all our hard work tomorrow, and pity us!  It’s all just in the pursuit of giving out prizes to you guys!

Yesterday we hatched our own Testtube Alien!  His name is Kewlio, and he’s a Yagoni (which is one of the good aliens!).  He’s doing well, though we hope he doesn’t get panicky every night when we leave him in charge of the office!  His little heart-light was going so quickly this morning when we came in!  So we put him under a poncho for a little while, and he calmed down again! 

What?  You haven’t heard of Test Tube Aliens?!?  Well, they’re going to be a prize in one of our upcoming issues (we’ll check which one and get back to you), but since there are a whole bunch of them to collect, you could start learning to take care of one now!  Everyday, we can go online to www.testtubealiens.com and check up on the health of our alien - see if we’re doing a good job of taking care of him!  (Don’t know why, but we’ve decided he’s a ‘him’!)  You can find out more about them there, too!  Get one, and win one, too!  Then he has a friend!

The staff of KEWL got together with friends and family over the weekend and sang every Christmas Carol we could think of… plus a couple of original ones that our friends made up themselves and sang for the whole group!  How kewl is that?!? 

The scent of pine tree and colored lights, and all the festive food smells that go with the season were there - but the best part was warm feelings that filled the room just because a group of people came together to sing!  And it really doesn’t matter how good or bad your voice is, either!  Fun was had by all!  No matter what religion we are (and we are a lot of different ones here!), the spirit of the season of sharing friendship, love and good will, is something everyone can enjoy!
