Okay, guys!  This is necessary knowledge!  We’ve reported it in the news section a few days ago, and really, any self-respecting teen who loves our site and blogs has GOT to know this!  Write in your guesses, and find out for sure tomorrow when we report it ALL OVER the website!  We’re also going to do a weeks worth of daily polls on the Birthday child - so look out to see how much you know!

Hey Ya’ll!

So, you know we have to moderate this blog, to make sure the language and the topics stay kewl for ALL our readers, older and younger, right?  Right!  Or maybe you didn’t know that… but now you do.  So our request is: read over your comments, and rewrite them if you need to, to be sure that we can post them!  We hate needing to edit what you want to say!  Especially if everything you had to say was amazing, and then there’s this one word in there that we just can’t publish!  It’s so depressing!

Take this as practice for life: learning  what to say and when , so that YOU will still be heard!  And like I always say, if you really want to express yourself colorfully (!), get out a Thesaurus and find some new and not questionable words to really get those feelings out there!

We hope that clears things up a little, and that now you know why some comments don’t get posted, and others seem a little different when they do get posted!  Sorry!

But DO keep on writing!  We LOVE to hear what you have to say!

We have so many ways of keeping in touch with our friends: texting, cellphones, IM-ing, email… when was the last time you wrote an actual letter?  You know, ink pen on pretty paper that goes in an envelope and you put stamps on it?!?  Yeah!  I hardly remember those either!  But letters can be soooo kewl!  It gives you time to think about exactly what you want to say, and how you want to say it!  And getting a letter can be so much more fun than an old email! 

So, who do you want to write a letter to?  A friend that’s moved away?  Your grandma?  That boy you think is so hot/cute/sweet?  Or maybe just a Thank You note for a party or special activity a friend included you in!  Everyone appreciates hand-written notes, and it’s a great, super-classy-kewl habit to get into!

Get “Olde School”, and let us know who you’d write a letter to!  Kewl paper?  Special stamps?  Scented?  Pass on your secrets for a great letter!

I’m sure that not all of you, but probably a lot of you guys are crushing right now!  So!  What is it about this guy that makes him ‘all that’?!?  Do you fall for gorgeous eyes?  Or is it his sense of style?  Is he great at some sport or other?  Or do you guys just really get along when you talk?  It might even be that he makes you laugh harder than anyone else!

Okay! Stop laughing, and what we mean is: have you ever moved homes?  Like to another house, city, state, country?  What’s it like?  How did you survive the change?  Was the change good for you?  Or not so good?

Moving is always hard, even when it’s for the better, so if you’re in for it, get ready!  The more you are prepared, the more you can know when to give mom and dad a break, and push a little harder to help from your end. 

Share your moving stories with the rest of us, and we can help each other survive what we all do sooner or later: Move!

What do you guys think of the long ongoing craze for wearing flip-flops all year long, with everything?  Zac Efron wears them to red carpet events.  There were even a group of White House honorees receiving medals from the president, and in their pictures, a few of the ladies are wearing flippies!  And now doctors are coming forward to say that they are not good for your feet!  We always just thought people looked cold wearing them in the middle of winter!  (Yes, it does get ‘cold’ in California! … Cold ‘for us’, at least!)

What do you think of flip-flops?  Is there an appropriate, and an inappropriate, time and place for their wear?  Should we avoid them altogether?  Or is disposable one-dollar footwear the wave of the future?  (Funny… I never pictured flippies on a space ship…)

Our big visitor today was Ashley Benson from Days of Our Lives!  She plays teenager Abby Devereaux on the show, and is a sweet, KEWL teen herself!  We had hair and make-up specialists on hand, and we’ll be featuring Ashley and her hairdresser later on the site and in the mag showing you how to do an “up do” for the holidays!

We’re big fans of day time television, and always tape or TiVo our favorite shows… What are your fave daytime “soap operas”!

Today at KEWL, we’ve been listening to the soundtrack to the new musical “Legally Blonde”!  It follows the story from the movie, but I think it changes it a bit, too, so there is a surprise!  It’s really fun and funny! 

What are some musicals that you are listening to?  Other than HSM 1 and 2, of course!  We already KNOW all about that one!  Share your secret musical obsession with us!  We understand, and we can probably all help out with even more great musicals for us to find and listen to.

We can’t keep a secret!  It’s Jennette McCurdy who plays Sam on “iCarly”!  We’ll be sure to get all the scoop on the show for you before the day is out! 

We’re also hard a work cleaning up our offices… cleaned your own space lately???  Always a good idea, just to keep track of what you have, where it is, and maybe even to see what you could be getting rid of or donating to charity?  If you don’t clear things out from time to time, you become that nice old lady down the street who’s house is so full of stuff, you can hardly open the door!  And the Fire Department comes and tells you your house is a hazard!  Now, you’re way too young to be that old lady, right?  So get on it!

It’s always good to check with your parents before throwing anything out, just to make sure they don’t want to keep it for some sentimental reason.  Believe us, you’ll be glad you asked!
