After the death of five teens over the weekend in what may have been a texting related car accident, we’re worried:  We all know that talking on the cellphone and driving is more or less dangerous, but texting?!?  Isn’t that just plain crazy?  Even if you can type without looking, it still takes all your visual attention to make sure your pressing the right buttons!!!  And at night?  And while driving (again)?!? 

We’ve got some advice: Anything you’d want to do while driving, try it while you’re riding your bike, and preferably under the same conditions as you would driving a car.  Without the seeming protection of the car around you, you may better see the risk you’re taking.  And that driver took the lives of four others with her lack of judgement.
