Do you read your horoscope everyday?  Or go to psychics?  Have you checked out books on tarot cards, or palm reading or crystals?  Some say it’s the absolute truth, others think it’s a fun way to open your mind, but not to be taken too seriously, while still others think it is actually evil. 

What are your thoughts?  Should I open a fortune cookie to find out?  Do your numerolgy?  Use ESP or ask you in a past life?  Ever tried randomly putting your finger into any book for a “message”?  We all want some answers, but is this really the best way to get them?

If you didn’t see the movie this weekend, that must be the magical outer space mineral that kept you away!  The movie is pretty funny, and even the things you know about, or have seen in the previews, are even funnier in the movie!  Kudos to all the writers and animators that made it happen!

Ouch!  That’s gonna leave a mark!  Seems Beyonce took a mighty spill down an onstage set of stairs, got up back up, and kept going with her show!  Now that’s dedication to her fans!  By the looks of the videos on YouTube, she did a ten point face plant, before jumping up and continuing with her routine.  Gives “stage-diving” a whole new meaning!

So!  What are your plans for tonight, Friday July 20th?  Going to see Zac, Nikki, Elijah and Amanda shine in Hairspray?  Or are you all about getting in costume and getting in line to be the first person to get and finish Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows?  I’ts a tough call, but this is our plan:  See an early show of Hairspray (Yes!  We saw it once, and we’re seeing it again!), and then off to the bookstore to learn a few new charms (hopefully not jinxes!), and grab one of the first books to go onsale at midnight tonight!  Then we’re in for a long night, as we’ve got to finish the book before anyone tells us how it ends! 

What are your plans?  Go ahead and say “none of the above” if you must, but at least we’ll have some funny costumes to look at on our journey!

Last night, KEWL joined Alyson Stoner and Taylor Lautner at the Hollywood Launch Teen Talent Contest in the heart of Universal City Walk in Los Angeles! This was the third week of the talent contest, in which talented teens compete for a promotional package worth $25,000! Judged by industry experts and the fans on CityWalk, each week brings a new group of kewl kids to watch and cheer on! Previous hosts have included Mitchel Musso and Devon Werkheiser, so if you’re anywhere near Universal Studios, Hollywood on any of the next couple of Wednesday nights, stop on by, see some talent, and say “Hi”!

Think outside the box!  Of course, we’re gonna cover celebrities, but what about people who we allshould  know about, doing great things in your community or for the world!  Science, art, sports…Anything!

After the death of five teens over the weekend in what may have been a texting related car accident, we’re worried:  We all know that talking on the cellphone and driving is more or less dangerous, but texting?!?  Isn’t that just plain crazy?  Even if you can type without looking, it still takes all your visual attention to make sure your pressing the right buttons!!!  And at night?  And while driving (again)?!? 

We’ve got some advice: Anything you’d want to do while driving, try it while you’re riding your bike, and preferably under the same conditions as you would driving a car.  Without the seeming protection of the car around you, you may better see the risk you’re taking.  And that driver took the lives of four others with her lack of judgement.
