If you’re in the LA area this Saturday, June 30th, bring your whole family to Family Day at the Los Angeles Film Festival in Westwood!  There are free community family movies playing in the theatres, free live music, games and events on Broxton Ave., which has been shut down block-party style for everyone to hang out on!  Activities start around 11am (though you might want to get there early!)and go on all day, with a free outdoor screening on Broxton that night!  It’s practically “Christmas in June”!

Our good friends T-Squad will be performing on the “Bands on Broxton” stage, as well as Frequency5 and 6 Twenty!  Come out and see what people your age are doing in the world of music!

We’ll be there, handing out free posters of our new Corbin cover, and free copies of our first issue, with Zac on the cover!  …until we run out, of course!!!!!!

In the countdown to the release of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (July 11th) and the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (July 17th), what are you, mere muggle, doing to prepare?!? It’s a tough call, but due to the close release dates of both, we’re trying to DO BOTH!!! It’s a read,watch,read,watch, read, watch,read,watch, read, WATCH!, read,READ! Of course, we’ll have to fit in a demo of the Wii Harry Potter game at some point - one trip to the mall in the next three weeks, just to get out of the house, ya know?!?

OMG! We got to see a secret sneak of the movie Hairspray last night and it was AMAZING! Everyone was so good in it, and we’ve been singing the songs ever since! Nikki Blonsky is the cutest person on earth, and the whole audience was in collective ecstasy every time Zac Efron hit the screen! He was so sexy! Three cheers for the whole cast!

We picked up some swag at the event, and will be giving it away online and in the mag soon!

I know most girls would kill to spend a few weeks hugging and standing arm-in-arm with Justin Timberlake, but not so much when he’s your ex! Cameron Diaz and Justin have been touring Europe promoting Shrek the Third, and though it’s not quite lovey-dovey, it might be too close for comfort! Knowing he’s got another girl now…we’d flip!

Alright.  Little Birdie Paris has a “medical condition” and can’t go to prison today.  So, now her “prison sentence” has been downgraded to “You’re grounded, young lady!” Officially! 

Well, we’re not sure what to think.  Of course she broke the law!  Over and over again!  And deserves punishment!  But nobody wants a prison scarred heiress on their hands - what’s a poor government agency to do?
